My second mobile phone was the NEC e216. It worked pretty damn well considering all I paid was £5 for a charger from eBay and £10 to get it unlocked from the rubbish 3 network.
The battery eventually died on it and it would cost me far more than the phone is worth to get it replaced. I never have gotten around to getting another phone; I still carry my trusty O2 simcard around in my wallet.
To get the back off I had to drill the screws out - they had wierd triangular heads with off-shooting points. It turns out they had also corroded which probably did not help much.
